How do you remove a screen protector from a kindle?

Anyone? I fitted one of those sticky sheets to the screen to protect it from scratches, but there are loads of airbubbles stuck there, and can't get the screen protector off. I can't get my nails around the edge to lift it, and don't want to use anything sharp as it might scratch the screen. Any ideas?

Have you left the origional one on? Sounds odd you cannot get it off, I use tea tree oil to get normal sticky stuff but ?? Maybe a dab at corner to try and lift an edge ......

I meant you may have added one ONTOP of origional and cannot see it, that would hard to spot and remove .

Sorry for the delay in replying. I don't think there was one on there when I got the kindle. I bought a pack of screen protectors from amazon and put one on. it was okay, had a couple of small airbubbles, which I didn't mind for a bit. But then they began to annoy me, so I managed to get a nail under the edge, remove that one and put a fresh one on. This one is even worse, but I did such a good job of aligning it, I now can't find any space around the edge to lift it again. I'm not sure about using tea tree oil on a device, but if that it's the only option, I might have to. Thanks for your reply.

You are a genius! It hasn't occurred to me to lift from the top, rather than try to get something underneath. I didn't have duct tape, ordinary sellotape didn't work, but making tape did. Hooray, now I can clean the screen and put a new (hopefully airbubble-free) screen protector on. Thanks.
