Just had a call from the AA offering a free upgrade of Homestart until cover payment is due again in June.

In June tho it will cost 131 pounds which I figure is a bit on the high side (homestart/ relay etc)

What do you pay and what do you get?

We get it free with dh's bank account (some barclays premier banking thing) and also get free worldwide annual travel insuranc efor whole family, makes it worth the fee 10 X over

Have a look at \link{http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1094823518,14076,\this}

This is £32 per year for homestart, roadside and towing to nearest garage. I'm currently with the AA but will be switching to this when my current year is up.

Insurance company quoted me £35 for the year if I bought with car insurance (not homestart/relay just basic roadside) but we also have the Barclays cover via our joint bank account.

I heard Lloyds also do something similar.
