conservatory question - polycarb or glass?

I would prefer the look of glass but we live in a terrace and don't like the idea of being overlooked and buying lots of naff blinds but also understand if we get a polycarb roof it is noisy but warmer.
any advice please?

thanks cod - our garden is north facing so thats why i'm wobbling over which one. would find it strange the idea of people being able to see in though, wouldn't be able to relax and would feel them sneer and snigger at the mess (its hopefully going to be a playroom). also toying with idea of it being a kitchen. though read somewhere suppose to have building regs?
its a bit bigger than 50 m3 aswell - reallly don't want to apply for planning permission as i am allergic to fillling in forms! did you?
