Flitter Fairies, anyone had them? are they any good?

they great on the video, and I think DD would be enchanted by them, but the reviews on Amazon are crap. Any experiences?

DD is 5... I think mayby if I do it for her, rather than her being hands-on at first, it might be ok.

Got one for DD (6) 2 years ago - played with once, binned it about 3 weeks ago
Depends on age of your child but I would say don't do it
They don't stay clipped in fine hair at all
The invisible thread is a nightmare when caught up
They need to be supervised using it

Yes, the hairclip thing puzzles me a bit, do you have to attach it to a hairclip or can you just dangle it from the wand?

Only a tenner on Amazon so maybe worth a punt for xmas, dd is craaaazy about fairies.

The hair clip is one of those metal bendy things that's snaps closed
It attaches to the hair, there is then an invisible thread which attaches into the back of the fairy. The wand is used to hold the invisible thread away from the head

Ah, sounds tricky, dds hair is fine and slippery.

might just tie fairy to a stick or something if it doesn't work. Have ordered the fluttery little devil anyway. Grin
