Hi there. Saw someone mentioned these on another thread (sorry, can't remember where it was or who!)and I went on the natures nest website, they look amazing and lots of claims that they've solved sleep problems etc., just wondered before I part with £150, has anyone any experience of them, are they really worth the money? Thinking of buying one for new baby due in June.
I'd be very interested in anyone's experiences, thanks in advance...

Hi jammydodger
I love ours. Bought one for ds2, as dd was still in the cot. It's fantastic and never had a problem with it. DS2 is 8 months now and to get himself off to sleep bounces it- no crying at all!!
Worth every penny,I just wished I'd found it for the two older children when they were babies!!
Any questions ask!

Oh thanks mummyvicky, that's just what I wanted to hear! They really do look a brilliant idea. Did you use it right from birth? And did your ds stay on his back when sleeping in it? TIA!

Anyone else used one?

I've got one and it's brilliant. Dd (4 months) sleeps really well in it and I just wish I had had it for her two brothers who were dreadful sleepers in comparison (that's the reason I decided to try it). If you had told me before having dd that it was possible for me to have a little baby who slept for nine hour stretches and then woke up without crying I would never have believed you, but she does. I put that down to the hammock.

I have one. I used it from birth with both my boys. They were both in it for the first year of their life. They certainly do learn how to bounce themselves off to sleep in it. I remember many nights of listening to the bouncing over the baby monitor!

I love it and would use it again for the next baby. There is one downside to them - my children got very used to sleeping only in them. This caused problems when we needed them to sleep elsewhere. I would recommend that if you get one, make sure your baby also sleeps occasionly in a travel cot, pram, etc.

thanks for that Ilana...starting to wish I'd discovered these for my ds, now 18 months. Am off to check ebay!

Yes I used it from birth and ds2 was premature, The only thing I can think to say about the natures nest is that they do keep warm- so grobags and thick blankets will make them too hot. In summer I used a muslin, and now a pram cotton cellular blanket. Its easy peasy to take apart and comes with a bag so you can take it with you to family etc and they can still have their nap. I plan to keep it until he wants out !!
