An alternative to a Grobag?

Okay, this is boring, I know, but I'm looking for Grobag alternatives for my very tall 2 y.o. dd, as she is outgrowing the one that is for children up to 36 months. Does anyone use Snuggle Sacs for their toddlers? Or do you have another alternative that you might suggest? I will be transitioning her from cot to toddler bed in the spring.

Thanks in advance for your help!

duvet?

Hmm, that's a good idea. I suppose I could get grippers or something so she doesn't kick it off. She seems to sleep better in a Grobag, as it stays on her --- I'm just being cheap in not wanting to pay for the next size up!

cut the bottom open? And add a bit extra too if you want or she can wear bed socks

If your DD is in a toddler bed, get her a normal single bed size duvet and cover. That way it is much less likely to fall off or leave her uncovered, as more of it to go round. Worked well for us.

Both mine went from Grobag to normal single bed and duvet. Started by tucking a lightweight blanket over the bottom. But neither of them fell out. Got out sure but that's the fun part . Think suggestion of toddler bed and normal size duvet a great one.

could you not get her the largest size grobag that fits up to 5 / 6 year olds?

How about these to keep the duvet on?

My 2 year old has had duvet since he was 2.2 years. His duvet has never fallen off. Prior to this he had grobags. He also moved into a bed at the same time. Been no problem Although he has been wearing socks!

Thanks, everyone, for your advice! The idea of a single-sized duvet is a good one, and I suspect that will be the route I'll go. I'm sure I will soon be asking you how to keep her from getting out of bed, when the time comes....

How about a single sized duvet (waste of money to go for cot bed size imho when you factor in bedding for that size too. You could have it sideways on the cot or toddler bed so there is plenty to tuck under the matress to stop it falling off and is snug.
