baby wipes.

I use baby wipes on the TV and the pc. My dh 'gets' wipes from work too...

Dont waste money on fancy sprays!

baby wipes might be ok for a normal tv, but not for an LCD screen. I'll ask DH later as his whole family are computer whizz-kids! I know you do need to use something specific for cleaning them or you will ruin the screen.

We had a very soft cloth provided with ours that you're supposed to use slightly damp -no chemicals or sprays!

Sorry, missed the lcd bit. Lots of products to clean LCD with online. Sorry, cant do links.

Using ordinary cleaning products on an LCD screen can cause the plastic to yellow and crack over time. You need special cleaning wipes or sprays.

Having said that though, I have used baby wipes and even flash cleaning wipes, but only in dire emergency (crayon, choclate yogurt type things ) If your just doing a general clean then I'd use the proper stuff tbh.

I end to use a damp cloth and then wipe it over with a fluffy towel or flannel so it doesn't leave streaks.
Guarenteed by the time I have finished doing the 50inch screen dd2 has already started putting her grubby mits back on it.

Monitor needs good care (if you do care about it). Go to Maplin (or even Tesco might have it) for anti static screen clean spray and clean your monitor (and TV screen) with a glasses cleaning cloth, silk, soft cotton cloth...

Again, if you care a lot about your screen, get a "lint free" cloth from a spec shop (Tesco Extra might also have it).

That said, if you don't care, you can clean it with most everything. I'd avoid water near electronic products.

If still not sure, google is your friend.

Hope this helps.
