was browsing ebay when i came across this stunner of a pram! lovely!

forget what you all say about bugaboo's being the chav pram of choice (personally i don't agree, i won a bugaboo and am not a chav and wouldn't be afraid to admit it if i was!) this is the ultimate, it would match the pink tracksuit and pink french manicured falsies!

BLEURGH !

That looks like something my DD would have chosen for her dollies when she was 2.

Surely no-one in their right mind would choose that (other than Jordan maybe)

vickiyumyum · 11/02/2006 17:43

have seen people with simialr ones around town, normally white though, bet they would love a pink one!

Really tacky. Those Babystyle prams do seem to be the chav choice around here, imagine how much your baby would sweat in 'leatherette'. Yuck

bobbybobbobbingalong · 11/02/2006 18:00

Bloomin eck that is revolting.

colditz · 11/02/2006 18:11

Eurgh.

Highlander · 11/02/2006 18:57

didn't think it was too bad until I read 'Pink Leatherette'. nasty...........

It is obvious chav though. The thing about the Bugabooo Frog is people think they are cool.

Highlander · 11/02/2006 18:57

y'know, it so bad..........it's good

I'd almost be tempted to get one as an ironic statement

cupcakes · 11/02/2006 18:59

I would love to turn up at the school gate pushing that - just for one day.
Nonetheless I still want a Bugaboo gecko.

SorenLorensen · 11/02/2006 18:59

How could a grown woman (or man) push that monstrosity? It's like Little Girl Heaven, definitely not for grown-ups. And think how dirty it would get.

ntt · 11/02/2006 19:00

That teen mum (cute girl with freckles) in Eastenders had one of those!

DelGirl · 11/02/2006 19:03

Hideous isn't it. Now, do I admit that I have the same pram only in a very tasteful charcol and french navy fabric which is yer normal pram kind of fabric. It's a great set with the pushchair and car seat too but I agree, that one is bloody awful. I've seen the white leatherette one but I think they do one which is in Burberry fabric would you believe

nulnulcat · 11/02/2006 19:04

why is everyone on this website so anti chav?

vickiyumyum · 11/02/2006 19:24

i'm not anti chav, i have some close friends who would be pleased to be regarded as chav, and all that it stands for.

i think chav is just a generic term used now and doesn't actually refer to a true chav, just wnnabes in general. as has often been said on mn true chavs have genuine burberry, louis vuitton, gol etc, whereas wannbee chavs are the ones with theri market best and argos jewellery.

its just this pram is truly hideous, leatherette!!! and all pink, as pp said maybe something jordan, jodie marsh would push (actually think jordan probably has better taste than this)

i have the genuine labels i work hard and can afford them, had a pink buggy from mothercare but it wasnt leatherette, only found this site a week or so ago and since then found anti chav names wouldnt want to live next door to chavs, starting to feel you have to be posh to be on here!

nulnulcat · 11/02/2006 19:33

and me and dd both own pink tracksuits but i wouldnt have us go out in them at the same time parents and kids matching now that really is naff!

MummyJules · 11/02/2006 19:33

I have never heard of the bugaboo being chav but that other pram is horrible!

munz · 11/02/2006 19:35

ooh one of my friends wanted that - she's a pink girl! lol - thankfully her DH said a firm no - I think it's horrendus!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 11/02/2006 20:12

If i'm from canada and have a bugaboo does that make me chavnadian? or since i'm in scotland how bout caNEDian!

lanismum · 11/02/2006 20:57

dont have anything against so called chavs, but this pram is vomit inducing, just like a kids toy pram, they come in white and baby blue too, loads of girls have them round my way and i shudder evertime i see them, they look almost pvc!

lanismum · 11/02/2006 20:58

quite like bugaboos though...........

expatinscotland · 11/02/2006 21:02

I find Bugaboos the fugliest things around. They look like a glorified Zimmer frame, IMO.

ShaysMummy · 11/02/2006 21:05

i dont want to dffend but me and dh think maclarens are chavvy as we see so many people with kids who can blatantly walk, forced into one. why go n spend all that money for a few months use?
thats how it is in our town. but....
they are all green with envy when i take my m&p out!
are m&p's chavvy?

ShaysMummy · 11/02/2006 21:06

'offend' i meant!

expatinscotland · 11/02/2006 21:07

DD1 can 'blatantly walk'. But she's a lazy little lady. And believe me, you'd rather see her in her Maclaren than hear her if I forced her to walk.
