I know we all LOVE India Knight - are any of her books worth getting for a light read?

Query, since you ask I actually quite enjoyed the first one- there wasn't much to it, but it did make me laugh. The second one was pretty irritating IMHO. The first one is called "My llife on a plate" I think.

WideWebWitch · 29/11/2003 10:43

I dislike her intensely but did like My Life on a Plate for a very light easy read. I didn't like 'Don't you want me' though. Tinker, what do you think (Codswallop, she detests her)

If it's the shops one it's not a novel, it's a kind of memoir and guide to shopping combined, so I guess it depends what you want really!

kayleigh · 29/11/2003 14:37

I also got the freebie one and agree with sobernow - utter twaddle.

Tinker · 29/11/2003 14:57

I read it holding it between to fingers, at a distance, as though it smelt bad, with a permanent sneer on my face. If you have to read her, go to a charity shop, the shelves are bowing under the weight of her, ahem, works.

two not to!!!! In fact thumb and finger really (oh never mind)
