Been trying to find a nice buggy or two in anticipation of new baby. Will have ds of 2.4 and newborn.

Me and dh have provisionally decided to get a maclaren twin rally buggy. I love the different patterns they come in, and have been tempted by the single versions of them for ages. However we will NOT be buying a single buggy for newborn.

The plan is once newborn gets to 3 months, we will get a maclaren mod or something similar, all the funky maclarens are from 3 months plus bar the twins. This should work out okay shouldn't it?

Ds has a buggy, it's not suitable from birth and doesn't have a raincover so newborn can't have it. We wanted to encourage him to walk more but don't see the point in getting a buggy we don't want for the sake of three months.

Any thoughts?

i hate to say it to u, but i hate my mclaren twin buggy and cant wait ot put it on a bonfire,
its 16mths old and looks knackered, hasnt been badly treated, beenon airplanes twice, otherwise mostly daily walks and in the car boot.

it was good for its width getting in shop doors was/is manageable even if they are single doors.
its light i suppose compared to others but if i wasdoing it again i'd spend a bit more dosh and get something better.

the left handle/arm is bent at an angle, dont know how this happened but i can usually straighten it or dh does it,
probably from me throwing it into boot (joke!)
couldnt throw it.
