Hi, i just wanted to know what nappies are best to use that dont leak, as everytime my DD poos it leaks out everywhere! And her poos are very runny as she is Breastfed, im getting fed up having to wash baby clothes in the sink to remove all the poo before putting them in the washing machine. Im using pampers at the moment and they are rubbish, whats happened to them as years ago they used to be good and not leak.

I use Pampers Baby-Dry and they work really well but apparently different nappies suit different shapes of babies so you could try Huggies (they leak terribly for me so would maybe fit your baby better?). My sister swears by Asda own-brand and I find that Sainsbury's Eco range is also very good. It's really just trial and error I think so see if you can get some samples of different types from somewhere or just buy a small pack to test.

You could try a bigger size if it leaks all the time. I tended to find that liquid baby poo finds a way out of anything though. All the Boy's vests used to have poo stains.

The best for us have been Nature Baby at night as they hold virtually any amount. Daytime best have been Tesco or Sainsburys eco. Huggies were the worst. Pampers were always ok but never spectacular.

how old is your LO? I found Boots own brand suited my DD best when she was breast fed exckusively. now shes one and mostly weaned we use Huggies Would use boots still if my local boots stocked sizes above 10lb! Counrty living ssucks! x

I second pampers baby-dry. I found the others leaked quite often and did not take in the odd giant wee.

surprisearrival my DD is 6months old but very small and still in size 2 nappies, her poo is so runny i think no nappy would hold it in. If i find one that does i will be surprised.

how about normall nappies with one of those reusable nappy holders around it? (if you get my drift! double up!).

That is a brilliant idea! Thanks surprisearrival

I found different brands better at different sizes. I think at that point we were using tesco nappies which were great.

Currently using Lidl nappies which did a grand job during a recent tummy bug. We had some leakage but not as much as I expected.

Big thumbs up for the Lidl nappies from me too - my LO has worn them for all but the very earliest days and we've only had very minimal leakage. I have used Pampers in emergencies and there's absolutely no reason I can see to pay their extortionate prices!
