Body Pillows

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and getting fed up repositioning my pillows countless times a night. As I've still got nearly 3 months to go I've decided to invest in a body pillow.
I've got it down to 2, both are less than £30 - a soft long pillow here
or a bean bag type pillow (might be more useful when the baby arrives)here
Can any one help me make my mind up - or I'll never buy anything!

why not just buy a v shaped pillow from Argos? only costs about £7 abd works just as well!

also good 4 feeding baby after

I was looking for something that would hug my whole body - support my legs and my bump.

I'm getting my sisters cast of V shaped pillow - maybe I should just wait till then...

I used a v pillow, went round nec, through boobs, and under bump, then put an additional normal pillow between legs... got so used to sleeping like that I still do and dd is 7 mnths!

Dunhelm do the V-pillows for £7 too with pillowcases for £1 or £2. I've got 2, great for pregnancy and feeding. I've got a long normal pillow too (double length from Tchibo) but find the v pillows better as you can get one bit between your knees which helps and one bit under your bump a bit for a blissful nights sleep.

I had, and still have a lovely long body pillow. Fantastic! I use it every night.

Go for the body pillow.

I have a Grobag Super Nursing Pillow. It is fabulous. I had v bad spd during 2nd pregnancy and it was a godsend.

It is very malleable and you can shape it to your body. I still use it as I can sleep with my legs together anymore .

It has travelled the world with me as I cannot sleep without it.

I think it cost about £35 to 40, but was worth every penny. it's about 3 years old now and good as new, the whole thing is washable.

er.... I can't sleep with my legs together anymore

I've got the grobag one to. It was the only way i got any sleep in the lat few months. It's the same as Jojo one I think. It was great when Dd was little as well as she used to just sit in the middle and got a lot of support. It was too big to use for breastfeeding though and I ended up usig a normal pillow for that but would think of getting a smaller beanbag one if I ever have another baby.

I have a tempur mattress

Enid - dh bought us a tempur mattress when my spd was at its worst when I was pregnant with ds2.

It transformed me from grumpy bitch queen from hell to some semblance of a human being again!!!
