Anyone heard of this one? I've never heard of them, and I've just received a parcel containing an 'introductory offer' of a Postman Pat post office set, which, although free, has apparently also incurred £1.49 of postage. It definitely has my name and address on the label of the box, but nothing on the invoice. When I rang them to query it, the membership number that is on the invoice doesn't relate to my name and address, so they wouldn't cancel anything, so now I'm worried about some sort of identity fraud. Basically I don't see why I should pay anything, and I want to send the thing back to them for free. Was proposing to email them and tell them this. Any advice welcome.

Phone them, tell then that as the parcel was unsolicited you will be keeping it and will not be paying the postage. If they wish to collect the parcel they should do so within X days. When I did this they picked the parcel up within days having previously spent 2 months trying to get them to do so.

I'll give that a try - was going to say pretty much that in the email, on the grounds that it's in writing (well, sort of). Hadn't thought of setting a deadline. Thank you.

I'd stay clear of books for children - you can get much cheaper and just as nice books from The Book People or BOL or even bookstores when offers are on! elc have a tradein book deal now, trade in upto 5 old books and you can buy 5 at half price
Iknow that doesn't anyuwer your quetsion, but I would avoid bfc!
