The best thing to do is to find a florist local to where the funeral is to be and contact them direct. Interflora is a rip-off!

Failing that, use Tesco club card points if you have them and send a tesco one?

If you are going to the funeral rather than sending flowers from a long way away, have you thought about buying a basket, a piece of oasis and making your own floral tribute with cheaper flowers from the supermarket? They are just as pretty as expensive arrangements. Your DD could help you and it would mean far more than an interflora one.

Rather than send flowers, could you not plant a rose bush or similar so that dd can remember her great gran. You could then send a crd to say what you have done and it could be planted in your own garden. You can then decide what to spend..

i would say ask for a small oasis arrangement, loose based rather than formal.

formal arrangements (for example a heart shape) use more flowers than an informal one.

you want to be aiming for something like a small table arrangement, and if you request to just have chrystanths and carnations, that will keep the cost down. at this time of year roses/lilies/freesia will not last outside anyway.
