Double buggy/pushchair advice please

My wife is currently 6 months pregnant with our third Shock and we need to get a double buggy. Our second DC was two in November, so need one of the chairs to be a normal upright and the other to be able to lie flat. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

i used a phil and teds when i had no5 and no4 was 2yrs, it was great :)

think what you will be using for, lots of walking, do you need to use a bus? do you want it to fold up small etc.

i dont like side by side doubles but if you dont mind them the nipper out and about double is good, its very lightweights and easy to push, lots of my friends have them and like them, i have the single version and i like it.

what is your budget?

Cheers 4madboys - I would like to keep the budget down as we have two singles already and this just until the two year old can cope on his own.

well you can pick up phil and teds easily on ebay second hand :) also the instep nipper double isnt too expensive and it can also be got second hand easily.

have you considered a buggy board? that is what i use with my ds4 and my dd now, also on the instep nipper the footrest is solid and my ds4 often just sat on that instead of using the double pushchair, tho i am pretty sure that isnt recomended! or of course use a sling for the newborn and a single for you two year old? moby wrap slings are good as is the closer sling. but if you do think you need a double then look on ebay or your local gumtree etc for a reasonably priced second hand one and if you get a phil and teds etc you will be able to sell it on easily enough afterwards :)

Cosatto You2 isn't too expensive second hand, they don't seem to come up very often but go for around £50 on ebay. It's narrower than a nipper and actually fits through our doorway (only side by side that would). Better build quality than the Maclaren I think, and not bad to push.

Cheers guys - given me some thoughts. Really don't want to spend £100's so I will have a look at them.
