Great clothes for boys

Have discovered a great website 'www.ladsandlasses.co.uk'. it does brill clothes for boys such as trousers with a 'digger' pattern printed all over. They are quite reasonably priced (£15.00 which I think is quite good for something 'different' and they do free p&p! (To prove I don't work for them, I have to say that the girls clothes seem really expensive by comparison, but I don't think there's a shortage of great girls stuff, so it's not really a problem!) Anyone else come across boys stuff that's a little bit different & not really expensive?

thanks theresa
it REALLY p**s me off when you go to shops and see tons of lovely girls clothes and about 3 things for boys.
If i had money/time/talent i would open a shop that specialised in boys clothes!

I was quite impressed with www.clothes4boys.co.uk - horrible website, but some good basics (and reasonable prices if you click the sale link).

Since my ds is as yet unborn, I'm not worrying too much yet though!

I live just down the road from a Lads and Lasses shop - ds has all that tractors and trucks gear (and it last for ages because it's designed for the legs to be turned up so you buy a size bigger and just unwind the legs as they grow)!

Another one which does stuff very similar to lads and lasses is Seesaw , or if you don't mind paying international postage (worth it when you see how low the prices are) there is Sew Cute in Canada.

I actually am feeling really fed up at the moment because I think you can get a much better variety for boys. I have found out that I am having a girl and have got very carried away with clothes because I keep seeing clothes I like and so does my partner.

The only thing is although the clothes we have bought are all lovely they are nearly all pink or at least have a pink top or pink trousers if the whole outfit isnt pink.

I love taking photos and I know I will do the same as I did last time and take a photo of my baby in every oufit and every babygro but they'll all look similar because of the colour.

I know you can get lilac clothes but the ones I've seen are either what I call a sickly lilac (very pale and similar to pink)or the designs or styles were not as nice as on the pink outfits.

We had already bought six outfits and then I finally found some cheap clothes on the market and some in a second hand shop in different colours so I bought 4 more just so she could wear something different. She'll probably not wear half of them.

Does anyone else find out that they buy all pink for girls.

H&Ms is fab for girls - they do have their fair share of pink, it must be said, but there are also lots of lovely, bright, funky things. I wish I could fit into some of the clothes they do, but as I am 6ft, it ain't possible . The boys' clothes look ok too - my ds is only 2 months so I haven't really checked it out yet. Dp gets most of his son's clothes there, dss (stepson) is 6, and he always looks great. However, the colours are a bit dull - blue, brown and khaki - it's the styles that are good.

i guess it may be a case of 'the grass is always greener..'
