Do I need a twin buggy for a 26 month gap?

At the moment my 19 month dd wants to walk everywhere but after a bit her legs ache plus going in a shop is a nightmare as she wont stand still in a queue or touches everything. So im thinking that maybe ill have to get a double buggy just to keep her out of trouble.
Ive been looking at phil and teds as it seems a good idea that you can change it to a single when DD can walk further.

Whats everyone else done? should I just get a normal buggy?

HOw old is ur other? or are u pg?

I have a 23 month gap and had a normal buggy and a carrier for a while, then a sort of tandem, name of it escapes me now, that was FAB but ds1 wants to walk everywhere now so we are back to 1 buggy.

What about a buggy board? or a seat to go?

have a 26mth old at the mo, and bump due in Feb, we're getting a tandem, as dd still likes to go in buggy after a bit and will often nap in it too if we're out for a while!

Phil 'n' Teds is AMAZING - yum, yum, yum - I LOVE mine (have 15 month gap, but have got friends who use one with a 2 year gap) kiddicare is cheapest place to buy the pram, but glasgow pram centre (www.glasgowpramcentre.co.uk) has ALL the accessories at the most reaosnable prices - All the best kbaby!!

def. would have needed a double buggy for mine if 26 m. gap (actual gap was 23 months).

I had a 24month gap and compromised by buying a second hand tandem from a friend. We only used it for about 2-3 months so I'm glad I didn't buy new. I'm thinking it might come in handy for the walk to/from school when DS starts next year though - it's a half hour away (adult walking not little legs!) and some days he might be too tired to do that after a day at school
