Just bought an E3 Explorer as dd1 is 15 months and dd2 is due at the end of Jan.

I think it is fab - especially as can use as a single or a double. I have a Jane Powertrack 360 for dd1 and I think the Phil and Ted is actually smaller - fab to say it is a double pushchair.

I have a Picasso so does have a large bootspace - the Phil and Ted takes up a lot less room than the Jane. HTH

Don't like it.

The cocoon arrangement for the first few weeks is good (baby generally asleep so lack of view not a problem) but people I know with them have found that after those first few weeks, baby gets p-ed off with being flat underneath and that they want more of a view and to be a bit upright. Fine, put them in the seat, but when you do change to the two-seat configuration, you can't recline baby, so no good for on-the-fly napping which you kind of have to do with two kids! Also child in the back can easily reach the wheels, which I think is dangerous and dirty. Maybe OK if you don't use the buggy much or only for very short trips, but I wouldn't choose it.

I personally think that they are ugly............but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw a woman in the supermarket the other day and it holds an awful lot of shopping! I was impressed!

I have one and it was great for the first 6 months-dd slept in the cocoon and still does (now 6 months). In fact, ds who is 2.4 will snuggle up there too.

I personally however hate the doubles configuration because the child at the back is so low down to the traffic. Basically at exhaust fumes height. So I have decided not to use it like this.

BTW, we have not found restricted view such a problem as ds only uses the buggy when he is napping, so the rest of the time, dd can be up on the seat.

Sorry, bit garbled, but hope that makes sense.

It fits into our tiny Skoda Fabia book btw, (do have to remove wheel but thats really easy), so think you'd be fine.

Also its a great pushchair in the singles configuration.
