favourite is www.lush.co.uk (but it's hellishly slow as it uses shop@ssistant)

For kids www.hawkin.com (also for adults! )

katierocket · 04/11/2003 20:53

lucy 123 - was just about to post lush!! my favourite.

www.play.com for cds. Postage is free, their prices are the cheapest (I think!) and I haven't had a problem with them over the last 2 years (100 cds later).

Don't forget new, packaged things on eBay too.

katierocket · 04/11/2003 21:07

cute and unusual clothes for kids (mainly boys)
www.pesky-kids.co.uk

Twink · 04/11/2003 22:13

For everyone: Gizmo & Widget

Games & craft stuff: Baker Ross

Also Lakeland for allsorts of stuff.

My favourite for me is Girls Run Too which have a wishlist thing like Amazon where you can email your desires (if you're into running tights & blister prevention plasters that is) to anyone you think might need guidance - worked a treat for me last year and dh got loads of compliments about how observant he was - Hah ! as Arabella Weir would say

Well, this is a nice site if you happen to like hand-made notebooks and things like that (they're very nice to deal with too) Coconutshy
And this is a site I used last year for my stepson's present; I got him an original cel that was used in a episode of the Simpsons, which I thought was pretty damn imaginative, frankly
