I'm looking for the kind of plate that suctions to the tabletop to stop it sliding about, but I can't find one anywhere. I've looked in Tesco, Boots, Mothercare and Babies'R'Us, but I'm running out of ideas locally. Can anyone suggest a supplier?
Thanks!

don't bother they don't work .. or at least the plate sticks but all the food still gets thrwon around

but here if you want

Probably
But dd is really good about eating finger food, and up until now I've always just put the pieces on the table, but whilst that is fine at home, when you're a guest at someone else's house, it feels a bit cheeky!

Where do you want to stick her?
But seriously, they are a good idea, but in my experience you end up with even more mess as the sprog has to pull so hard to detach the plate that when it does come off the food goes aboslutely everywhere!

Tommee Tippee do a mat with a suction bit on it that most plates stick to. It's very good. But I guess that babies can just lift the mat up if they reall want but it helps pin the plate down a bit. I bought mine at Tesco and use it to hold bowls still when I'm baking!

I'm with jmb. They have to pull so hard to get the bowl up that the food takes off with the force of a rocket launcher...
