Why would I buy this...

..when I could buy this (which is actually £15 cheaper in-store)?

OH HM. Is it only £25 in store then?

hativity · 29/12/2005 15:03

Shock Shock Shock

hunkermunker · 29/12/2005 15:04

£24.99 in-store. DH won't let me build it He says I'm too pregnant and he wants to do it. I am, however, allowed to clear the space for it He's wallpapering the bathroom. Nesting? Us?!

Without meaning to put a damper on this bargain, these seem a little deep. Won't the kids have to pull everything out in order to find that one small bear at the bottom?

hunkermunker · 29/12/2005 15:05

Good storage at Homebase, Lockets and far less pricey than John Lewis! (No leather handles, but ffs, it's a toy box!).

Argos do some cheap ones too in case Homebase doesn't have it.

hunkermunker · 29/12/2005 15:06

No deeper than a toy box and much better for sorting and keeping tidy - cars in one, peek-a-blocks in another, etc.

Blossomgoodwill · 29/12/2005 15:07

Ideal for dd's room.

SackAche · 29/12/2005 15:07

How CHEEEEEEKY of John Lewis! They are always so over-priced anyway.

Mincepiedermama · 29/12/2005 15:07

Oh yeah. I was thinking of my kids who like to spread cars and building blocks into different toy boxes and drawers.

Twiglett · 29/12/2005 16:34

must admit I like the john lewis one much more

hunkermunker · 29/12/2005 16:42

I thought that when I saw the photos, but in the flesh, the Homebase one's nicer, or at least on a par, honest
