acnebride · 03/01/2006 12:01

I've got a Klippan but can't get anything from www.which.co.uk/carseats - can anyone else?

munz · 03/01/2006 12:22

i'm worrying now mine's not on there - it's the urban detour one - any ideas of the full list or is that it? it's pretty similar to the one which scored in at no 5.

RTKangaSantaMummy · 03/01/2006 12:58

Please please please check first from road safety centre if the csar seat you choose is the correct one for YOUR CAR

It may be the best seat but may not FIT your own car safely

The centre is in MILTON KEYNES and you can ring them

Caligyulea · 03/01/2006 13:00

D'you have a link Kanga?

RTKangaSantaMummy · 03/01/2006 13:00

Buckinghamshire County Council's Road Safety Section are aware of the following local companies who both specialise in the sale and fitting of child car seats and seat belts. Provision of this information is not an endorsement of these companies or the products they supply.

In-Car Safety Centre
Unit 5,
The Auto Centre,
Stacey Bushes,
Milton Keynes.

Tel: (01908) 220909

PLEASE EITHER GO THERE AND THEY WILL FIT IT FOR YOU OR RING THEM

I wonder if any other places do this? (Bucks is a bit of a way to go for me!)

RTKangaSantaMummy · 03/01/2006 13:59

Buckinghamshire County Council's Road Safety Section

perhaps look up your local council or ring Milton keynes and ask them if they know of another one

misdee · 03/01/2006 13:59

i just called them, they cant do anything over the phone, looks like its ogg to MK for me at some point.

RTKangaSantaMummy · 03/01/2006 14:03

sorry misdee for giving false info

we went there and so just thought they would be able to help over the phone

zephyrcat · 03/01/2006 19:29

Are there any other websites that show list like this or safety sites that anyone knows of? Would like to check on the other car seats we've got.

LIZS · 04/01/2006 09:25

Wouldn't it be great to have a definitive list !The AA did a survey a couple of years back, I think, and there are other international motoring sites which do (ie TCS in Switzerland), but the brands and model specifications do differ from country to country. Sometimes places like Mothercare are simply rebadging a well known brand like Graco and one company can market the same seat under different range names - Hauck do this with their Lifesaver infant seat which is same as I'Coo, Jeep etc.
