Can anyone recommend a built in electric oven

ideally a double one, never had a double one before but think it would be useful.

It needs to cook at an even temp both sides of the oven as I'm constantly having to turn stuff round at the minute and it's driving me nuts.

Thanks

Any fan oven should cook evenly. We love our Neff ovens.

My current one is a fan oven and it's never cooked evenly. I've seen some adverts for neff ones in some of the food magazines and they look very nice. Thanks.

Neff are very good indeed, as are Bosch and Siemens. A double oven fits into that category of 'you never know how much you needed one until you actually have one' and I would recommend it.
I have a friend who was so in love with her 26 yr-old Bauknecht oven she actually removed it and took it with her when moving house, putting a cheap lookalike Indesit in it's place.

VivaLeBeaver - is the fan actually running?

VivaLeBeaver · 15/10/2011 08:26

The fans definitely running, it's been like this from new. The fans very noisy now which is why I've decided to change it but the noise doesn't seem to have had any affect on the performance. It's ten years old as well.

Neff, all the way!!
Had a Smeg before, all style, ver very cheaply made for the money. Had lots of problems with that one but the Neff I have now is simple, practical, easy to clean and reliable.

Bosch/Neff/Siemens are all the same make.

We had a fab AEG oven in our last house, so opted for all AEG in our new house. Big mistake. The quality seems to have taken a dive. Our oven doesn't heat evenly, is slow to heat up, racks are very slippery and have an akward lip on them, oh and they didn't even provide a handle for the grill pan.

The hob is ceramic with no knobs, but the touch panel is erratic and we sometimes can't get it to work. The hood was repaired a week after installation.

I'd go with Siemens, as I've never had a bad Siemens product.

Any recommendations for a cheap(er) one? We have a kitchen which we will definitely replace at some point, but the oven is shagged. I don't want to spend lots twice, IYSWIM so looking for a reasonable compromise. Any tips? We have so much to pay for in this house - recently moved and the rose coloured specs fell off pretty sharpish!!Hmm

Neff. Only neff!
Mine even cleans itself!
