They are here in lots of colours and look rather groovy

What do you think?

NomDePlumPudding · 11/12/2005 15:46

ooh, they look fabbo. Funkier alternative to a cradle/bouncy seat

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 11/12/2005 16:01

pretty good aren't they? I'd love to know if anyone has one.
BTW you don't have to pay £84 for one (!) they are on the web for about £65. Which is still expensive but not SO bad...

NomDePlumPudding · 11/12/2005 16:03

it is a bit pricewise, but it can be used until the child is 30kg so you would get quite good use out of it.

LadyTophamInAChristmasHatt · 11/12/2005 16:10

Ohhhh, they are nice, aren't they?!

I'd definatley get one if the stork delivered another baby to us.

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 11/12/2005 16:13

that baby asleep on it looks supercomfy...

30 kg is about a 10 yr old! £6.50 a year, bargain

I hope someone who has one comes on the thread to endorse it soon, I can feel my fingers inching towards the credit card! there is a navy and lavender one reduced on the net that may well have my name on it...

I want one now!
I'm sure the new baby would love one of them

Where have you seen them cheaper PPPH?

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 11/12/2005 16:21

on here - this seems to be the only place doing them cheaper. £69, not £65, but free p&p

Thanks for the link.

I'll show dh when he comes home from work

feastofsteven · 11/12/2005 16:30

oooo they do look lovely - you can just imagine sticking one in the living room, rather than toting mosing basket about the house. shame they are so pricey

WeWhizzzYouAMerryXmas · 11/12/2005 16:34

Made me think of when DS was tiny. We had a flat bean bag & he used to sleep quite happily on it. One midwife thought it was a great idea but the other one that visited was 'oh no, you can't let him sleep there, he'll get much too hot'! Typical !

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 11/12/2005 16:57

I've bought it!
Will put in a report when I've got it (although won't be able to test it on real live tiny baby for a few weeks yet

Gosh PPH, your preg seems to have flown by too. It only seems like 5 mins ago that you were preg with your DS

NewBethlehemGirlwithsparkles · 11/12/2005 17:00

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 11/12/2005 17:01

OP posts:
NomDePlumPudding · 11/12/2005 17:01

These are so cute, it's almost worth having another baby

NomDePlumPudding · 11/12/2005 17:02

Has it been a bit of a pita this time then, PPH ?

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 11/12/2005 17:02

yes but pregnancy SUCKS the 4th time around

OP posts:
NomDePlumPudding · 11/12/2005 17:03

HMMM, perhaps not then...

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 11/12/2005 17:05

ooooh crossposted!

just feel about 102 all the time - can really feel this one my pelvis, permanently knackered, in a permanently slightly bad/pissed off mood for no reason...

haven't had any specific problems, it is just all a bit more like hard work. and of course you don't have any of the fascination and wonder of the first 1 or 2 pregnancies, pregnancy the 4th time is just a means to an end, counting off the days, which makes it really drag.

or maybe that is all just me being a badtempered old cow

OP posts:
NomDePlumPudding · 11/12/2005 17:06

shame there isn't a [grumpy moo] emoticon really

misdee · 11/12/2005 17:08

i', adding oen to my wish list for number 4, in about errrrrr 5yrs??

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 11/12/2005 17:12

or just a [snarl] perhaps. I'd make good use of that!

OP posts:
LadyTophamInAChristmasHatt · 11/12/2005 17:35

Ohhh, PPPh....
I think your post should really put me off having another but it doesn't! I actually feel really jealous. Really REALLY jealous.

Both our September 2003 babies are such big boys now aren't they?

Awww, they're not really babies anymore though

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 11/12/2005 17:52

oh ladytopham don't feel jealous!
I was looking at ds2 today wandering around the kitchen with one hand behind his back, dh's phone up to his ear, saying "yes.... yes.... yes.... ok byebye granny" and thinking "he SO isn't a baby any more!!!" He is so sweet and funny and tall. And I've just filled in his form to hold his nursery school place for Sept 2006 and thought "NO! You can't be going to school in less than a year!"

But then I also do slightly keep thinking how easy life is now that they are all a bit older and play together nicely and can be taken pretty much anywhere without hassle and wondering WHY I'm plunging myself back into 24hr babycare again! Just tell myself it will all be worth it in another 2 years
