A mince-pie-pastry-pusher

Not jsut for mince-pies, but 'tis the season etc. I'm on the hunt for one of thses again, tried earlier this year with no luck, but hoping that the mince-pie season might help.

It's a thing for pushing the dough disc into the mince-pie tin without air-bubbles getting trapped under the dough. It looks a bit like a one-piece weight, but asymmetrical, with different-sized pushers on either end.

Anyone seen one?

tried the Lakeland website but no joy.
I use the base of a shot glass myself...

Lakeland carried them every Xmas until the year after dh started making mincepies at home. One of the things you never think you'll need. Well, OK, I don't really need one, managed so far after all, but it would make such a nice pressie for dh.

Pampered Chef do them (but I don't know if they have a website)

PrettyCandlesAndTinselToo · 08/12/2005 16:51

Yes!
Aoow!
It's too small. The search goes on. Nice website though...almost as nice as Lakeland...

I use the end of my wooden rolling pin.

(you can't buy from the Pampered Chef website IIRC, you need to have a party)

Ahh yes but I'm going to a party next week...any orders?
