ok

I cut the pic off the front and put the whole lot into a big clear plastic bag with a klippy klip at the top

I've got some jigsaws in old kids shoe boxes - must admit they are getting bashed though.

The other things I use are old ice cream tubs or cheap 'tupperware' type boxes from Tesco (tesco value) or matalan.

depending how big the pieces are, ikea do a pack of three great little containers in different colours at about £3?..i keep my dd's crayons, play doh etc in them and as yet playdoh has kept soft, so must be pretty airtight too.
we bought lots of these as dd also takes them to toddlers group with a sandwhich and yogurt etc in..just the right size!

zip wallets....
like///

FlameRobin · 06/12/2005 11:14

DD's got a few little wooden boxes with them in, but come this Christmas I think we'll be needing some more... tesco value tubs are probably about the best value - you don't have to buy a pack so you just get the sizes you need.

At our toddler group the organiser has coded each piece so if you pick up a stray piece of puzzle (or even worse, if some little sod decides its a good idea to empty them all over the floor)you instantly know which one it belongs to.
eg. the box and each piece of one puzzle labelled A1, the box and pieces of another one labelled B2 etc

i used to buy frames from car boot sales and frame the completed jigsaw which took so much time and effort -then i gave it to nannas - who were compelled to like it - for special occasions

Wilko's do those zip bags too.

Mincepiedermama · 06/12/2005 20:29

I put a mark on the back of each jigsaw piece so that, say, the cats jigsaw pieces have crosses on the back, the farmer puzzle has ticks on the back, others have circles, hearts etc etc. A separate mark for each puzzle. The do your freezer box idea putting that puzzles mark on the box.

Mincepiedermama · 06/12/2005 20:30

'Then' do your freezer box idea.

doormat · 06/12/2005 20:51

I glue them together and frame them
