Anyone got a Relyon bed?

I've just bought a Relyon bed, for delivery on Friday. It was bought in store (Bensons) without doing any research first (yes, I know...) but I recognised the brand and thought they were quite reputable. Having carried out some post-purchase Googling, this particular bed, the Airflow 7000, seems to have generated tons of complaints - due to the sagging mattress - and several court cases.

I was steered towards this bed by the salesman and, surprise surprise it now emerges that Relyon and Bensons are the same group of companies. Hopefully I haven't just wasted the best part of a grand on a rubbish bed. Has anyone got any experience of these beds? It's the one with a memory foam top and pocket sprung mattress.

I bought a Relyon mattress in August 2014, it cost €1000 and I am not happy with the way it has gone. There is a significant dip in the mattress which causes you to roll into the middle of the bed. It is very uncomfortable. I have contacted the retailer who sold the mattress and I am now waiting for them to contact me. It is still under warranty so we will see what they have to say. However I would definitely not recommend this brand. The previous mattress we had was a Sealy Orthopedic one and it was on the bed for 9 years and was brilliant but unfortuately I couldn't get the same one again so bought Relyon. Never again!!

So I have the Airflow 5000 which I got around 2 or 3 years ago. It was a replacement for the previous one I had bought in 2010 from Benson for beds in 2010. I think it was 2013 I called them to say that the sides were bulging out (besides the big lump in the middle) but their 5 year warranty says that the bed depreciated 20% each year and you have to return it to the store you purchased from and we had moved and I couldnt be bothered. On the phone the customer service told that the model I had had actually been recalled as faulty and to take pictures of the sides and they would get back to me. They did and I was told to go in a choose the new bed and that part went very smooth. The ordeal with the bed being too big to go up the stairs and exchanging etc etc turned into a 3 month ordeal for which I would never do business with them again... but I come here today because the replacement, the airflow 5000 is now also bulging at the side and I am so annoyed to be in the same place I was before and looking to see if anyone has information that this model is faulty as well, I will call them this week but not looking forward to another ordeal!

The original bed I had that was declared faulty and replaced just by me calling and sending the photos was the Reactaform Airflow Memory 1050

I have always bought Relyon beds for the last 40 years. I needed new zip and link bases, so I went back to Relyon what a disaster. I’ve now had two faults. The link dropped off and now one has developed a huge bulge on the side. The major problem, however, is that you have to lift up the bases and the mattresses to link them. Considering I have a serious prolapse and the weight I cannot do this. I spent £900 on useless bases. All I can say is don’t go there. Their descriptions and quality are beyond belief.
