MerlinsBeard · 02/12/2005 21:43

i love ours!!! its creative play without the mess!!!!! wish i had seen the thomas one when we first got ours tho

AwayInAMunker · 02/12/2005 21:43

Yep, love it. Especially love that DS draws on his toys with the pens...and I don't have to mind at all

ja9 · 02/12/2005 21:45

where do you get the thomas ones?

Hulababy · 02/12/2005 21:45

DD got one last Christmas and it is a favourite here. Great for taking with us when we go away for the weekend, and all the children love it when they visit. Infact, so do the grown ups

Don't you think the new "Deluxe" version is much dearer - we paid £15 last year and it is now £20 because it has a couple of stencils with it. Think the Thomas one seems very expensive, but can imagine little ones love it.

Definitely get one though - they are great

You can get it in TRU but mine wa old out Sold out online now too.

dingdongmeggymooonhigh · 02/12/2005 21:48

anybody got a link to one?

Hulababy · 02/12/2005 21:48

They can start using it as soon as they can hold a pencil and make a vague mark; earlier with someone's help. On the advert for it on TV it is a quite young baby using it.

Hulababy · 02/12/2005 21:49

They had the deluxe version in our Toys R Us this week.

AwayInAMunker · 02/12/2005 21:49

Woolworths had the basic one for £11 last Xmas.

Hulababy · 02/12/2005 21:50

On the TRU website, the deluxe one is available . The Thomas one is out of stock though.

dingdongmeggymooonhigh · 02/12/2005 21:52

Thanks Hula nd Hunker

Hulababy · 02/12/2005 21:52

Thomas one is available here by looks of it, but slightly dearer at nearly £27.

I saw some the other day in Woolworths for £26.99 and in ToysRus for £22 so they vary a bit.

ja9 · 02/12/2005 22:04

the thomas one looks great but do you think it is worth the extra money?

OP posts:
hornbag · 02/12/2005 22:05

Have seen them in Woolies and Boots this week.
Toys R Us is the cheapest I've seen for the Thomas one if its still on special offer.

biglipskissinunderthemistletoe · 02/12/2005 22:06

gemmamay · 02/12/2005 22:09

Earlybird · 02/12/2005 22:15

What is the upper age this would be suitable for?

AwayInAMunker · 02/12/2005 22:29

EB, I'm 30 and I like it

Earlybird · 02/12/2005 22:32

AiaMunker - so I should get two...one for me, and one for dd?

dd's almost 5 by the way - would it be too juvenile for her?
