My BF gave me a tub of it for my xmas and B'day present. It comes with a funny little spatula thingie but no instructions at all, obviously I know it's a cream so you just slap in on but it's really so think and gloopy that I wondered if there was a particular technique involved as I seemed to use so much in the first application.
I've heard lots of hype about this product and am expecting to look like Natalie Portman by the New Year

I guess the only way to know for sure is to buy it from a bonefide high street stockist.

Socci I have skin just like yours.
TBH as NDP says I wouldn't buy from e bay,you won't know if you're buying a fake will you? Although I have noticed recently that there are tonnes of cosmetics/fragrances which are meant to be testers and not for resale being bought and sold on e bay, there must be some cosmetic salespersons making a bomb somewhere!

socci, try ebay. but even samples cost about twenty pounds.

BonyM · 30/11/2005 17:30

I used to use it (DH used to get it duty free for me when he went to the US) and it was the only thing that cleared up a little dry patch on my face. It stopped working though so I don't use it anymore.

BonyM · 30/11/2005 17:31

Btw - don't think it retropect it made my skin actually look any better, although at the time I used to tell myself it did - to justify the cost!

bosscat · 30/11/2005 17:33

I am dying to try it and am hoping someone buys me it for christmas. I've dropped enough hints anyway. I bought it for my MIL last year and it has worked miracles on her. She had really creased lines as she's been a smoker for years. The lines have virtually disappeared and she's on her second pot now. I also use the Eve Lom cleanser which is the best beauty product I've ever used.

I managed to blag a tester pot from a saleswoman and had great plans to keep it going for months - you don't need that much.

Despite my best endeavours, DD caught it. My screams of 'nnooooooooooooooooooooo' when I saw her creme de la mer'd face echoed around the house for a day.

It's around $400 here. GASP.

My cunning plan is to ask for one for Chrismtas. DP will think he's lucked out (until he hands over his card). Guffaw.
