Little pram, dolly high chair, push along trike?

M and S have Mini Dinoraptors and Robosapiens for about £50. Or an MP3?

My 8 year old is getting a Star Wars duvet and curtain set; an acoustic guitar and some lessons; a goldfish and tank with filter etc. I'm sure other demands with be forthcoming (but not necessarily met)

santabops · 26/11/2005 16:32

Getting my 2 year old a duvet and duvet cover for when he moves into his new bed after christmas - plus stocking presents that are toys.

For the boy do they sell day out things for kids?? Maybe a day at an adventure centre?

hercules · 26/11/2005 16:38

Where are you getting the guitar from? What's suitable for a ten year old?

WHSmiths has some of the Science Museum Range I noticed today. Lots of fab fun things perfect for the older one.

With 2 year olds (have one and am aunty to two ATM!) I find that an etch a sketch always goes down well.

few other ideas:
stilts/ pogo stick
juggling paraphernalia
Planetarium from Letterbox
music player of some sort ie MP3/iPOD/CD player
or DVD player

Girl - Dressing up type stuff - M and s, Woolies, Asda etc all have great ones. Role play toys like doctor's kit or play kitchen.

Boy - Science stuff, computer games, strategic board game like Risk or Monopoly, perhaps in an alternative version(like Lord of the Rings or Star Wars), Bionicles, remote control/electric Lego or K'nex

My 9 year old ds is getting a remote control dalek (I bought, but dh has pooh-poohed idea) and some lego technic.

Ds2 (8) is getting lego, and a gameboy and games and he really wants a crystal growing set but they are all for 10 plus or 12 plus - nevertheless, we have found a little crystal growing set which I think is 10 plus and we are going to give him that anyway.(BTW, ds2 has more than ds1 because it is also his birthday)
