Blacks? (kidding)
Adams? Mothercare?

asda.

Mackays have some nice ones. I wanted them for 14 month old DS but I'm sure they go up in size.

They are thick ones.

Woolies had some cheaper ones which looked ok too.

M&S sell opaque ones.

Enid · 11/10/2003 11:02

Yup, dd ripped a giant hole in hers, on Thursday!! Though come to think of it, maybe they're only in school age sizes - your dd is only about two, IIRC?

scoobysnax · 11/10/2003 12:57

our john lewis stocks them - also sock shop

Angeliz · 11/10/2003 14:20

i think Asda does them!

I checked in M&S today and our branch has them from age 6/7 up.

Primark do them, also Woolies. Lots of places will be beginning to have black sparkly numbers in for Christmas too - completely tacky and horrid but just right for fancy dress I should think!

This was quite timely as I need to buy some woolies for my ds twins (aged 21 mnts) My friend bought them pairs last winter and I thought I would never use them but as we go on walks quite a lot in local country parks they are invaluable during esp as this will be a harsh winter and the cold wind can chaff little boys legs just the same as little girls!

Can you believe my MIL is giving me stick about it. Just as well I don't listen to her!

Gap used to have the opaque tights kind, you know with lycra, but no woolly-ness.

emsiewill · 19/10/2003 21:55

Tesco? I saw some in there yesterday, not sure what age they started from, though.

susanmt · 20/10/2003 15:19

Woolies.
Last year though I dyed some black in the washing machine and she is still wearing them now.

I finally found some in Woolies, thanks everyone. Other shops had them but only in 'big' (school age) sizes. Now any tips on turning an old black sweatshirt and a pair of tights into a fantastic cat costume?????
