Last night I thought it would be funny to use my boyfriends dax wax to make my hair into a big spike. It was funny at the time, but after four shampoos the bloody stuff still won't come out I have resigned myself to a hat today, but I am off to tesco's on a bit and I need to know what will make this come out. I can see the funny side, but today is the first time my grandad is seeing my new haircut and right now I look like a cartoon character. HELP!

rofl

a little bit of fairy liquid should do it.

littlelamb · 20/11/2005 09:57

Really? I guess that would work actually, it gets the grease off my pans so why not my hair, eh?! Are you sure that won't make me bald? I'll have to wander round smelling like a sink. Better than the current situation though

Wish I knew what to recommend, but rest assured you've put a smile on my face this morning. Sorry. Good luck with it anyway.

no, it doesn't make your hair fall out. it's just a bit harsher than shampoo. I've used it before.

you might need a lot of conditioner though.

I should think coal tar shampoo would probably quite effective. And another one here saying, thanks for the laugh.

Catbert · 20/11/2005 10:06

And put the shampoo onto the hair dry and work it through before rinsing off...

WigWamBam · 20/11/2005 10:06

Yes - washing up liquid. Put it on while your hair is dry, then wash it out. Put some more on and wash again, then wash with your usual shampoo.

Crossed posts, Catbert

Oh - and you can get "residue remover" style shampoos, which are designed for occasional use, to remove all traces of hair products once in a while (because even normal products build up even with regular washing). You might need boots, or a hair salon for this though...

Thank you. I don't mind that you're mocking me I'll put a pic of the enormous spike on member profiles later if my shame doesn't stop me first!
