Electric toothbrush for nearly 3 yo???

Will this make a difference to my dd1's total refusal to let me brush her teeth without a huge song and dance (I have tried everything and just don't have the time to deal with the persuading and bribing every day)??
Any recommendations?
Any reasons not to?
We already have a Braun one so can I just buy kiddie heads for that or do the childrens brushes go slower????
TIA

My dentist told me that I could use an electric toothbrush as soon as my dd got teeth, so I'm sure it would be ok for a 3 year old.

I have various friends who use them with their children and would never consider going back to a "manual" one.

Why dont you give a cheap battery operated one a go first. I think Colgate do winnie te pooh designs etc.

DD (3.5yo) has a battery operated toothbrish - got it before she was 3yo - and she loves it. Batteries has lasted for ages - not replaced them yet anyway.

Thank you for your replies. I am at the end of my tether and will try anything. I will try to get hold of one of the battery opertated ones I think.
Thanks again.
