We want to get our 6 y.o a digital camera for Christmas. He is quite responsible and often uses ours but we think a cheaper one would be safer for him. Any one recommend one? I dont know how to go about finding one at around £50/£60 or if they even exist at that price?

Oh - we have tried twice to get a cheapish one for dd1 (7) - first got a JamCam which was reallly cheap (less than a tenner iirc) but absolute rubbish - photos were terrible.

Then we got a Goodmans from Tesco.com which was about £50 but also not great - lots of blurring and distortion on the pictures unless you hold the camera very still which is almost impossible for a child of that age.

Spent ages looking on the web for something - there is obviously a market for one, don't know why no-one makes one. (Or if they do it's very well-kept secret )

this looks pretty good for a child. Nice and simple to use.

I had the Relisys RDC3100 recommended to me on another forum (£40.17 from Savastar.com)

The Kodak looks good though Kelly1978
