Children's cutlery...any suggestions?

Can anyboby tell me where I can get a reasonably priced set of plain (non-character) stainless steel child's cutlery from? I've got a set from Richardson's, I think it's called feed me and IKEA used to do a great set for around £3 but have discontinued them in favour of their plastic sets . As I've lost a couple of spoons I'd like to get a couple of extra sets as they're so handy when friends come for tea too!
Can anyone help please ?

I saw some lovely cutlery sets in a freebie catalogue (catalogue was free, not the products ). Can't remember the name though, will have a think

Urchin do a chunky set

i bought some training ones from boots. they are just in plain colours (we have purple) and they have little dents in it where the child needs to put their fingers to hold them properly. they were £4 for a set and DD loves them.

Thanks!
Don't you find the character ones have blunt forks and that there's nothing for the older child about?

This is my second Studio recommendation this morning and I don't usually recommend them at all because their Customer Service is rubbish and you don't always get what you want when you want it - however (deep breath) these are quite sweet and you don't have to have personalisation (in fact it can be better not to, I got them done years ago and the letters were so faint you could hardly see them).

HTH

Lots on here

Not necessarily reasonably priced but they are really nicely made/formed is the Robert Welch children's cutlery Box set of 3 items is £19 or £18 depending on finish - comes in normal stainless steel or brushed stainless steel. We could only afford one set but ds1 adores them and feels very grown up. Haven't seen a nicer set anywhere else. Just have to wash them up frequently!

This has teddies on but comes in a bigger set with a tray

Hmm ...... The Urchin ones are a bit pricey but would be good for DS (2.5).DD (6) is a bit old for them I think? I suppose what I'm after for her is a small adult set really - which is what the ones at IKEA used to be like.....
Please keep the ideas/links coming - I'm interested (nosey) to know what everyone else does!

I like this one from NDP's link - you get a teaspoon too! - the really nice ones are terribly expensive, aren't they?

NomDePlume · 13/11/2005 10:53

DD (3) uses the toddler cutlery with rubberised handles and the DSs (now 12 & 13) use adult cutlery and have since they were about 5. DD uses adult cutlery when we are eating out.

Wow! you lot are very good! Thanks - there's lots for me to go on here.

All I did was google 'children's cutlery'

Janh · 13/11/2005 10:54

The knife in the Gravurbesteck one is 18cm long, that's 7" - our dessert knives are about that length, maybe you should look for those?
