does anyone know if it is still possible to get a twin puschchair/buggy where you can fit a carrycot to one of the seats? I remember seeing them loads when I had my first baby but nowadays I never do. Have looked today at a Mamas & Papas Twin Aria but it doesn't look very supportive for a newborn's back (God, I sound like my granny )Help !!

There seems to be a few three wheelers about, the Mountain Buggy, the Twin Elite from First Wheels, Red Castle Double Jogg and 3X Twin that I have been able to find. Although I have not spoted a four wheeler, most four wheelers seem to be able to take a double carrycot or two seats. Most three wheelers seem to have separate seat units, which is why one can be removed to replace with a carry cot.

Also found on ebay a BEBE CONFORT TWIN CLUB but no picture so not sure if three or four wheels. Also I spotted on Tamba's website that their autumn edition had a copy of their buggy review which although aimed at twins may have some more options. I mainly browsed the web through Google and ebay.

I hope you have some luck, as I also believe that that newborn's should be laid flat and not in a car seat etc for any length of time (and I was only in my 20s when dd was born five years ago).

hi patch - you're up early too!!!

I quite like three-wheelers except they are so bloody big to get in and out of the car. We looked at one once and the woman in the shop suggested quite seriously that to get it in and out of the boot we carry a spanner and take the front wheel off!!! Am having to buy a new car anyway as this baby is most unexpected and can't now fit them all in the car I have so don't want to have to look at an even bigger car!! I wonder if any of the US companies do them.... prams that is not cars. Thank you for your advice. Now I am off to change a dirty nappy. x

The E3's baby seat is pretty flat (not entirely). It is a 3-wheeler, but I don't think it's that big when folded up - seems to go in a normal boot. (Which my 3-wheeler won't.)
