Swimming caps - need one that doesn't hurt ds!

I am struggling to find a swim cap for ds (4.5) that isn't incredibly tight on his head - they all seem to be one size (too small) and in a material that is really difficult to get on and off without hurting him. Does anyone know of a brand that would be a bit kinder on his noggin?

havent ever used one for dd or ds. If he has a large head (like my ds!) then try an adult sized one. DS's last winter hat had to be from the mens section in Tesco. Does he really need to wear one?

You can get fabric ones (I think they're Spandex) rather than that horrible rubber that grabs the hair and pulls it. DD has one ... it doesn't keep her hair dry of course, but it does keep it out of her eyes and seems to be acceptable for places that demand a hat.

we got dd2 one at our local pool - a zoggs one, which is just lycra. as pp said, it doesn't keep her hair dry, but school seem more concerned re" ahir in pool filter, I htink, and they actually recommended the lycra ones rather than the nasty rubber ones.

Thanks for that. I've just searched on the other fabrics and ordered what looks like a more comfy one. The pool insists on hats and goggles...
