Does anyone use a heated airer?

Like this one? I wondered about this on the "sea of washing" thread but I'm in thread killer mode today so don't expect any answers there.

If you use one, does it make any difference to the speed of drying?

I haven't got one Bran, I wonder how much they cost to use I would imagine a lot. I put a lot of my washing on hangers then hang it from the curtain pole in my bedroom, it dries quickly and as long as I keep the door shut no one else sees it.Towels, bedding and other "flat" things I drape over radiators or hang over the wooden slatted shelves in the airing cupboard. If you do get one I would be interested to hear what you think of it

Apparently they use the same electricity as a light bulb, so not that expensive. We don't have the kind of radiators that you can drape things on, and I find that on an ordinary airer I have to keep re-arranging everything as it dries because the crease where it hangs on the airer doesn't dry.
