What's the best baby development book you've read?

Has anyone got any recommendations of books re child development (or indeed anything else they were really pleased they read) - I'm thinking of getting some books for while I'm sitting around once my maternity leave starts and am currently a bit bored with the childbirth books so thought I'd move on to working out how to develop this child into a genius/perfect personality (no idea how to insert an emoticon here).

I have the Child of our Time book that I am reading at the moment and finding very interesting. I did follow the series though and both my children are in the age bracket (19 wks and 2.8yrs) which makes it relevant to me at the moment. I like Bright Baby by Dr Richard C Woolfson too. He has done a toddler and child version as well.

I have a copy of Babies by the Toddler Tamer Dr Christopher Green - yours for P&P if you are interested?
I thought it was a good book.

The Social Toddler is a good book too. (still using that one, sorry!!)

I really like the "What to Expect: The Toddler Years" - it covers absolutely everything and their philosophy is very close to my own. Also like Toddler Taming and The Baby Whisperer.
