Tinted Moisturiser - which one?

Following on from the "do you wear makeup" thread....I see that many of you use tinted moisturiser as an alternative to foundation. Which tinted moisturiser do you use, and would you recommend it? Where do you buy it?

I have some Nivea Visage from Boots, but it always makes my skin feel oily (and I have oily skin anyway), so maybe I need a different type....

Any suggestions for me?

Dermalogica
Laura Mercier
Clarins

I use Imanance by Lancome.

Used to use Les Lumineuses by Vichy yonks ago - don't know if they still do it, but it was a good one that wasn't quite so expensive.

I want to know the answer to this as well. Will look back later...

Laura Mercier tinted foundation is lovely. I only wear it in the summer, but sure it's fine for winter too.

puff · 31/10/2005 11:23

oops sorry tinted moisturiser

Enid · 31/10/2005 11:23

Dior Hydra Move blooming lovely

treacletart · 31/10/2005 11:24

Not a tinted moisturiser as such, but No7 Intellegent colour is amazing stuff, very very light, practically undetectable but makes a big difference

laughinglil · 31/10/2005 11:26

laura mercier wins hands down...quite hard to get hold of but it is amazing!

teeavee · 31/10/2005 11:26

I use shea butter tintedd moisturise with light-reflecting pearls by l'occitanie
Good for me as I have v pale skin - they do a white 'ivory' version as well as more peachy colours

Trickorflum · 31/10/2005 11:34

Oil of Olay, v, good and good price too

Another Laura Mercier fan here; tinted moisturiser spf20 is great. I get mine at Space NK.

Laura Mercier all the way. The price may throw you off - about £21 - but it lasts a long, long time. Brilliant stuff.

laughinglil · 31/10/2005 12:55

more like £30! on space nk website!

The last time I bought it, it was in Harvey Nick's for £21. This was last year, though, and it's still got some left in it!

motherinferior · 31/10/2005 13:19

Intelligent Colour here too, over moisturiser with an SPF 15.

hester · 31/10/2005 13:20

Laura Mercier far and away the best, but I'm also a big fan of Stila.

Both quite expensive, I'm afraid, but I do think that with tinted mjoisturiser you get what you pay for (unlike mascara, for example).

yoyo · 31/10/2005 13:22

No 7 Illuminating tinted moisturiser is v. good. Was recommended in loads of mags earlier this year. Also very reasonable!

Enid · 31/10/2005 14:17

I promise you Dior Hydra Move is better than Laura Mercier

teeavee · 31/10/2005 14:19

how much, enid?

Enid · 31/10/2005 14:19

cant remember £20 something I think

Stilltrue · 31/10/2005 14:50

Enid, that's way too contoversial for me! But I might try it after I run out of Laura M (though just bought a new one so that won't be for a few months at least).
