i think you can get one from php. can't do links but the website address is, www.thebabycatalogue.com/ was just looking through it but the pages have just stopped working for me. hth and the pages work better for you.

had a look on php website but no joy....there was one which fitted to the actual seat belt, more for older kids, he is undoing the actual car seat clip which would be situated on his tummy area....if you understand me.

i bought that safety clip for my nonstop toddler this june. it lasted about 1 day until she figured it out and was able to still take off her seatbelt. what we do now is twist the seat belt before putting it in the clasp which seems to do the trick. good luck as its quite an annoying stage to get through.especially if you are stuck in traffic and cannot fix it up straight away !!

like i said its for the actual car seat i need something for.

thanks for your input though.

Seriously though, I think you need to work on the child and not the seat. Dd used to wriggle out of the straps. I tried telling her off, and she thought it was a great game. So I used to stop the car in a layby or somewhere, and sit there and ignore her until she gave in and tried to get back in the straps again (then I'd help her, and we'd drive off). I almost started keeping a book in the car to keep myself entertained while I was ignoring her, when she got the message and stopped doing it.

Firemen apparently don't like those gadgets to make carseats hard to get out of, as they mean it takes longer to get a child out of the seat in an emergency. Otherwise I'd just use gaffer tape.

yeah i dont really like idea of an extrs=a device to stop emergency services getting to child in a hurry, but what else can you do.

may need to have a good shop around for another car seat which he wont be able to undo....or like you say, gaffa tape, to tape him under the stairs when we go out, then dont have to worry about car seat troubles or replacement car seat!!!!

oh love him dearly but could scream at this issue.
