Really good make. Expensive when brand-new - I got a similar one free for my sister (perk of the job I had then) and it is gorgeous. I am sooo jealous every time I meet up with her - was planning to wait for no. 2 until her dd had grown out of it!

edam · 21/10/2005 20:53

My sister's is similar model - not huge but not basic buggy either. Handles really well - my sister has a bad back so that was important. It is sturdy, but not heavy to manouevre. Really easy to unfold, just shakes out. Bit more difficult to fold, though.

my car has a very small boot. dd3 still sleeps a lot and i cant fit the p+t in the boot. want something comfortable for her, but not too tiny/big.

The more I think about this, the more I think 'buy it'! I'coo is indeed a prestige range. My sister's would have cost £500 new, plus £50 for lovely carry cot.

edam · 21/10/2005 20:58

Isn't too tiny, or too big. My sister has a Focus and it fits in her boot OK. Doesn't fold like a Maclaren, obviously. But a lot sturdier and 10 times more gorgeous

the zapp has bugged me this week lol. i used it for dd2, and with no shopping basket, it really wore me down. using it for dd3 as atravel sytem is great for short trips, like the hospital, school run etc, but if i need to carry anything else its arrrrrrrgh!!

OP posts:
misdee · 21/10/2005 21:15

and for overusing them, i have broke many in my time. i do do a lot of walking, and have worn out a lot, at least 5 have been worn out lol (thats for 3 kids, not 5 for dd3) the worst was when one collasped when dd1 was in it, she was only about 18months at the time. it was the 1st stroller i owned, and tbh it put me off for a bit. i did have a triumph but with dd3 i need one that lies back more, and it was getting very worn out and a bit past it, so sold it for 20quid lol. that one was about 2yrs old.
with dd3 i have only bought the p and t and zapp new, and the zapp was a bargian price, the pram i have is a repaired one, and onyl cost about 40quid. its lovely, but again doesnt fit in my little car.
