Scooter for a tall 3 year old

Looking to buy my 3yo DD a 3 wheeled scooter. Her friend has one of these, which she is happy wobbling along on - she doesnt have any great turn of speed yet! However she is v tall and that particular scooter doesnt have an extendable handlebar which would certainly limit its useable life span.
Can anyone recommend an alternative?

My (admittedly small) 7yo ds will quite happily ride my tall 4 yo's mini micro. You could look at the next one up (Maxi? which does have extendable handlebar), but quite frankly I've had a few scooters and the mini micro wins hands down. It's so easy to ride, quiet on the footpaths (a godsend!), light, won't rust. Pretty good resale value I would imagine too.

My very tall DD (4) just got a Maxi Micro for her birthday. With the handle at it's absolute lowest it's about the same height as the Mini Micro. It also has a much more generous weight limit. It is a bit heavier and bigger overall but we're hoping it will last a few years, not least because it's so flipping expensive. It is meant to be from 6yo though so possibly a bit too big for a 3yo. Are you near a John Lewis or other stockist to try it out?

A trip to JL might be a plan.
Whilst I'm sure she's tall enough for the maxi micro I worry that Shea not strong enough or skilled enough on a scooter. Is it a lot heavier than the mini?
Accessorise- resale according to eBay is v good but we have DD2 who could have yet another hand- me- down!

Not significantly heavier for an adult to pick up but possibly enough of a difference to make it harder work for a 3yo to manoeuvre which might make it frustrating for your DD maybe. I think a lot of the fun of the Mini Micro is that it's really easy for a small child to manage. My friend's 18-month-old has her sister's handed down one and is scarily good on it!

How tall is she? My DD was about 102cm when she turned 3 and, thinking about it, I probably would have got the Mini Micro at that age and she would certainly still be using it now but would probably have outgrown it in weight and height by 4.5yo.

I'm wittering. HTH anyway.
