Microfibre cloths - are they magic or what?

I just bought some this week (from Lidl, very cheap, very nice) and cannot believe how effective they are.

We misguidedly put white paint above the dado rail up the stairs and it's always grimy, cleaning it with detergents is messy and not even particularly effective, the microfibre gets it all off with hardly any effort and no mess! I've been flying around the house like a TV commercial rubbing dirty bits and going "look! look!" to my children (who are unenthralled )

If you haven't tried them yet get some!

Where did it come from??? (Hi, secur, btw )(janh)

I just searched on here (before I posted) because I knew I'd read about them and most of what came up was in nappies - did they start as nappy liners?

Yup.
They're bloody great.
My family used to laugh at me in a rather condescending way until I bought them all e cloths.
Soon wiped the smile of their faces I tell ya!

I dont think they started out as nappy liners but they are brillaint for that too. Its us Mums being hugely inventive when it comes to saving on the laundry. Microfibrecloth =absorbancy = no leaking nappies = less clothes to wash and theyre cheap too.

Nothing for the biro

You might shift the nailvarnish a bit with a scouring pad used carefully. (Microfibre does lift the surface off emulsion I discovered on a red wall )

the flash eraser etc removes emulsion paint too, but will prob be fine on wallpaper - just go very very gently to start with!

Hi, Lmcc - sorry, been out to work since 1.30 (ir's a hard life, sob).

Lidl ones were 3 for £2.49 - thick loopy white ones, about a foot square - and the thin green window cleaners (no good for nappy liners I suspect) were 2 for £1.99.

cod, elbow grease is required, get your cleaner to do it
