i need something stylish to keep toys in down the stairs, in the living room. most toys are kept in dd's bedrooms, but they are only little and dont play in their bedrooms, so toys are down the stairs, and i dont take them up at the end of the day

something cheap cheerful and stylish, ive seen lots of things, but expensive

what do you use

thanks

I have a big plastic trunk from poundstrtcher for £10 and then a saml round table and seat thing that holds toys from ikea that were £5 each. They ar4e green and blue and dont know about stylish but they are very practical and robust.

I have a large rattan trunk from Next. It was expensive (about £79) but it holds loads of stuff and matches the kitchen chairs

I have 2 wheeled 'LO' trunks from IKEA - I love them, they are small enough to move, and to not 'lose' things at the bottom - but big enough to use as seats/tables. I have them each side of my huge bay window.

What about These?

We've got a big cane basket from Ikea in one room and a smaller one in another room.

Have a box thing from Ikea and also have one of those hanging mesh things to keep all the cuddly toys in people insist on buying DD (I swear they have been breeding though!)

ja9 · 20/01/2006 21:57

wicker basket type things. one in living room and one in kitchen.

Lilliput · 20/01/2006 22:23

I have just bought 2 sets of three wicker baskets with lids from homebase, one set for dd, one for ds, about £20. Everything gets put behind the sofa so I can't see anything child related in the evenings.

Milge · 20/01/2006 22:55

We've got one of these

edodgy · 20/01/2006 22:59

we've got 2 of these down the side of the couch.
