The ones seen advertised on back of those childrens magazines. Inflatable beds that suit kiddies from 2 - 5 year olds.

Are they any good?

Not bad for the occasional night away. our 5 year old has slept on them with no probs (we used to sneak one into hotels to save paying the extra £25 for a folding bed!

Wouldn't use one for longer than a few days though...

my niece and nephew have one - they seem to like them and they serve the purpose. Probably useful if you're stay at other peoples' house a lot

We found the secret is not to inflate them too hard, so they have some 'give' and feel soft.

They can't be too bad - DH ended up sleeping on DS2's when we last went to inlaws! (DS2 came in with me in the middle of the night!)

ready bed

Thought about is as gradualting from cot to bed, as a safe start, and of course taking on hoidays and stuff.
Can you get them anywhere except that newcron site?

We bought a Princess one for DD who is 3 to use when we stay with the in-laws. Got it from Boots. The first one we had developed a puncture after 5 days but they exchanged it and this one seems OK. It's pretty good for occasional use as Mo2 says but I don't think it would be great as a bed substitute for any length of time. Ours doesn't have the inflatable sides that the newcron one does - that seems a good idea as often DD ends up slumped on the floor in the morning.
