Car Seat Cosytoes

I saw someone with a cosytoes that fitted into a carseat (the travelsystem type car seat) - like a snowsuit, but not iykwim.

No idea where to get one though! Seems a much better idea than trying to fold a sleeping newborn into a snowsuit, and then into a car seat - you just sort of put them into it like acosytoes.

Am I rambling now? Help.

I got a coupel out of mothercare, a few months ago. Not 100% sure if they still do them. They are very nice though, jsut liek a buggy cosytoes, fleecey, with an apron bit that velcros on to the back bit.

Couldn't see any in mothercare

This ?

jane also do them, but they are pricey. If you went to an independant baby shop that sell jane products, they would be likely to be able to order one for you. We looked at the jane first, as we have a jane system, but then I saw the mothercare ones.

Is it one with 'legs' in that you particularly want, flamebat ?

flamebat · 28/09/2005 10:48

They're quite cool too - I love the "Why not try a matching hat"

lol, didn't see that bit!

flamebat · 28/09/2005 10:49

I thnk preferably with legs though yes - I quite like the way the vertbaudet ones you've got the child in the shopping trolley too, so can be used for more things.

I got one from Vertabaudet. It has a jacket and a bottom bit which buttons on and off. There are slits in the middle of the leg bit so the car seat belt/buggy harness to can be fed through. It's a buggy nest, and Vertbaudet won't let me do a direct link to it. Sorry

gronag do a 'travel' one which essentially IS a grobag but you can still starp them safely into a car seat / buggy as they have zips on the front and back
