where to buy tiny pants?

Help! Am really struggling with pants for DD2. She is 2 and potty trained but she is really tiny. DH managed to find some 18-24mth ones in M&S but they are still huge. Just had to buy her some new skirts as the ones she'd been wearing kept falling down now there is no nappy to hold them up - they are 6-9mths!

So can you recommend anywhere that either does really small sizes or whose sizes come up really small. Otherwise I'm going to have to put them on a boil wash and hope they shrink!

Tumble drying works well for shrinkage

I think that boots do some fairly small too.

dd (also tiny!) is still in Tesco 2-3 now, and she's just 4 ! their 18 -24 months are reasonably small. With ds I bought 2 - 3 pants and had to put extra elastic in but can't do that so easily for girls .

I got some in Asda. they are either 18/24 mnths or might be 12/18 mnths but they fit dd who is 20 mnths and skinny. Ive had to hunt back out her 9/12 mnths trousers as she was in real nappies before and was in 18/24 mnths trousers

i have some 1-1.5 from Mothercare that are really teeny

Enid · 27/09/2005 17:01

remember its quite good to have them a bit baggy as it makes it easier for them to pull them up and down

agree enid- my averagely sized 2.5 year old is in age 4-5 pants!

Petit bateau things are always quite small, and very nice too.

DD had 12-18 mth ones from Asda when she was nearly 2 & they were not bad, mind you she's 4 & still wearing some of them cos she's hardly put on any weight & obviously skinnier as she's taller. She's wearing 12-18 mth skirts & we've had a few 'excuse me your daughter's skirt has fallen down' incidents when out & about.
I'd love her problem.

yes second aloha on the Petit Bateau pants (great discount outlet in Bicester if at all convenient for you). In fact it reminds me I have kept one pair of ds's first PB ones because they were so tiny and sweet. (Is that gross?)

I tumble dried DS's pants from Marks and they are now rather small! Buy a pack of their budget range and give it a go.
