Ok we are still on the quest for a new car. Still haven't sorted out credit for one yet but am hoping that if needs be my dad will be garuntor for one.

Fiat Brava's seem to be ideal for us in that we could afford one only about 5 or less years old, low tax and insurance, lower petrol costs (i think) and big enough for a family of 5.

Other than all that, i no nothing about them so if anyone has one could they share a bit of info please, good and bad points etc.

TIA

apply for the reg vardy one on line and then that way you know where you stand, also try a bank loan online. if that fails when you ask your dad to guarantor you will be able to say we have already tried to do it ourselves.

I think witht eh loan though it would need to be his name and then you set up a standing order to pay him back each month.

Can you buy a cheaper 'banger' for a few hundred quid just to tide you over and give you a bit more time to sort out your credit issues ? I'm surprised at what you can get for between £500 and £700 on Autotrader

Unfortunalty we haven't got a few hundred quid else thats what i'd do as i've seen loads of bargains on auto trader today.

Do you have to have a deposit for Reg Vardy or do they take your old car ??
