I'm a lakeland virgin, now looking through for my first order. Does that wash-it really work? Any other recomendations too?
TIA

Bump. cos I've wondered this too

Bump. I don't know what this product is but as it's Lakeland I'm mindlessly curious about it.

welshmum · 25/09/2005 19:51

What is it?

roisin · 25/09/2005 19:57

Didn't work for me. The washing didn't smell clean afterwards.

Kelly1978 · 25/09/2005 20:28

it's here .

It's a gadget that you put in the wash machine in place of washing powder and softener, and it somehow cleans your clothes. Now, I'm not expecting that, but I was thinking if there was some truth to it, maybe I could at least cut down from two tablets to one.

Saddo Lakeland addict that I am, I have pondered this and given it some thought (I meant to start athread myself actualyy). I have decided that while it may make the washing clean technically, you're not going to get that clean washing smell (as roisin mentioned) because that comes from detergent/softeners etc. And I like the clean washing smell. So I'm not buying one!

Caligula · 25/09/2005 21:00

Oh I had one of those years ago. (Or very similar - wasn't from lakeland it was from one of these babynappy places).

They were OK, but Moo's right - you don't get the laundered smell.

I used to do roughly every tenth wash with powder and fabric conditioner!

Kelly1978 · 26/09/2005 08:37

hmm, but if it does get it clean, and I use half the powder and conditioner too, I should save money, and get that laundered smell. I'm off to guildford today, will have to have a look.

I almost always hang my washing out so no matter what I use it always smells the same
I love the wash balls and the dryer balls too!
Am about to order their bench top ceramic compost bin too

I think they are great unless something is particularly smelly (vomit!)......I air my stuff and don't use fabric conditioner as can't stand the smell..!
